Resources
Being involved in mission and ministry with young people is not always plain sailing. At BUSY we want to resource and support you in what you do. You can download our BUSY Brochure which will give a flavour of what BUSY is all about.
Holiday Club Material
In 2007, a small task group pulled together some material for the Step Out summer teams to use in the children's holiday clubs they ran during the weekday mornings. The theme was 'Roadside Rescue' and was all about a car going on a journey (with the help of a family). The journey for the children looked at the creation story, the Bible, messing up, getting rescued and the Holy Spirit.
We've now put together a Roadside Rescue pack. The user manual contains M.O.T. sheets for the children to do in their small groups. Also included in the pack are a fun computer game for the children to play, a computerised scoreboard, memory verse sheets, logos and registration forms. It's You are more than welcome to use it in your churches. We'd love to get your feedback on it - just send us an email to give us your thoughts on the material.
Training
If we are honest with ourselves, there's lots in life that we aren't sure about or prepared for. We want to help feel a little bit more equipped to do the valuable stuff you do. Below are basic details about courses that we offer at present for children, youth, children's leaders, youth leaders, and churches. We will continue to develop these over the coming years. There is always the possibility of offering one-off courses on specific issues (e.g. Discipline, Child Protection, Creative Programming, etc.). For enquiries, queries or if you can't see what you're looking for, contact us and we'll see what we can do.
